As results come in I'll try to keep a running tally here of results in races I care about. I'll try to remember to record "as of" times on things as I report them, but I'm bad about getting in a hurry.
Races I'm happy with the results or projected results of:
20:33: Corker seems to have a healthy lead over Ford in Tennessee. 21:14: FOX shows Corker over Ford 52/47 with 52% of vote in. 23:42: FOX just called Tennessee for Corker
20:38: CNN has just called Connecticut for Joe Lieberman
Races I'm not so happy about:
20:32: It looks pretty certain that Rick Santorum (PA) has been voted out of the Senate.
20:32: It looks pretty certain that Mike DeWine (OH) has been voted out of the Senate.
20:41: FOX says Chafee has lost to Whitehouse. Didn't like Chafee much but he was better than a dhimm.
21:08: Fox shows Mad Jack Murtha leading Diana Irey by 63/37%. Damn it!
20:33: Allen's running a strong race against Webb in Virginia. 21:16: Allen over Webb 50/49 with 88% counted 21:16: Allen over Webb 50/49 with 93% counted 23:01: Webb over Allen 1,141,052/1,138,676 with 99% counted -- Recount time. 00:11: Webb over Allen 1,143,756/1,141,030. I'm not sure whether that includes absentee votes
20:48: 9:41 - The Senate seat in Maryland still looks pretty competitive for Steele. Prince George's County hasn't reported yet, and the county leadership all endorsed Steele. 20:53: MSNBC says Michael Steele loses (I'll report what they're saying but their evidence is pretty shabby at this point.) 22:03: Steele/Cardin 50/49, 35% reporting And they're still calling it for Cardin? 23:05: Cardin/Steele 52/46 with 67% reporting 00:21: Cardin/Steele 54/45 with 85% reporting
00:10 Tester(D)/Burns(R) 53/45, 40% reporting 02:49: Tester/Burns 50/48 with 79% reporting 13:55: FOX and CNN have both declared Tester the winner in Montanna
21:34: Talent/McCaskill 53/44 in Mo , 20% counted 23:43: Talent/McCaskill 50/47, 69% counted 00:14: McCaskill/Talent 813,003/799,007 80% reporting 01:47: Republican Sen. Jim Talent of Missouri concedes defeat to Democrat Claire McCaskill
Miscellaneous related:
- As of 22:25 CST both FOX and CNN are reporting the Dhimmocrats have gained control of the House.
I don't have to like it but I think deep down I expected it.
