Victory at Walter Reed

You Snooze, You Lose. Code Pink is BANNED

GREAT NEWS TO REPORT.

Code Pink is no longer allowed on any of the four corners that line the main entrance to Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

[Read on here. Hat tip: Mudville.]

Best news I've had in days. Three cheers for Concrete Bob.

*** 2006.01.23 Update:

Don't miss Michelle Malkin's take on the matter here. It's good to see this getting some publicity outside the MilBlogs/Freeper crowd.

Note: I hate to have to do it but I'm turning on comment and trackback moderation. If you post a legitimate trackback or comment I'll do my best not to be too slow about approving it. If the only reason you're here is to advertise your porn, music, or penis enhancement site you can kiss my sweet ass.

It was certainly good to chase the Pinkos off! The Pinkos started holding their anti-war protests (disguised now as "vigils") outside of the main entrance to Walter Reed almost 10 months ago. Soon after, FreeRepublic and the Protest Warriors started holding counter rallies/pro-troops demonstrations at opposite corners. Last August it made national news when CNSNews did a story on it and it was picked up by the big radio talk shows, Hannity and Colmes, etc. From having talked to a number of troops inside and outside the hospital, they know full well what goes on at the gates every Friday. Although a few, no doubt, oppose the war ("In any large organization..."), the vast majority despise the Pinkos. So I figure it's the least I can do for the war effort to show up on Fridays and lend my support to a good cause. Stay tuned....
