Why are so many people looking for this picture?
(Updated & Bumped)

I posted this picture several weeks back, long enough ago that I can't even locate the post now. [*** Update: Ah-hah! I found it. ***] Judging from the amount of traffic I'm getting from people looking for it I guess this wouldn't be a very good time to post my snail-mail address. Oh, well. PBUH and all that crap.

Hmmm. Wonder if this has anything to do with it:

Denmark: The Next Terrorist Target?
Evan Kohlmann

Last September, the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten caused an uproar when it published a series of cartoons depicting the Prophet Mohammed that were deemed blasphemous by many conservative Muslims.  One of the cartoons depicted Mohammed with his eyes blacked out, carrying a curved dagger and flanked by women wearing burqas.  Another showed him wearing a turban shaped like a bomb, complete with lit fuse.  The tempest-in-a-teacup controversy resurfaced this month when a Norwegian Christian magazine decided to republish the cartoons because editors were reportedly "sick of the ongoing hidden erosion of the freedom of expression."  In response, fundamentalists have declared war on the Danish government and are attempting to enforce a Muslim boycott on goods from Scandanavia. Militants operating on the Internet have issued open calls to Usama Bin Laden "to add Denmark to your list of upcoming targets."  Even the Mujahideen Army (a prominent Sunni insurgent group in Iraq) has today issued its own official statement bitterly condemning Denmark and Norway over the cartoons.

Or this:

Mujahideen Army Calls Upon Fighters to Attack Denmark and Norway

The Mujahideen Army in Iraq--a prominent Sunni insurgent group--has released a new communique threatening to attack Denmark and Norway over a series of recent cartoons ridiculing the Prophet Mohammed.  According to the statement:

Guess some people just got no sense of humor at all. Screw 'em if they can't take a joke.

So, how many jihadis does it take to change a light bulb? (Leave your answers in the comments and I'll post the one I like best.)

Michelle Malkin has much more here including all 12 of the pictures in question.

All 12 pictures are also available here, here, here, and here. I have copies of all 12 on my hard drive to post if they start getting hard to find otherwise.

As the Spectator says (currently) in its rolling news listings: "Islamic insurgency in Europe targets domestic media - this story will be repeated ad nauseam for decades to come as European populations shrink and Muslim populations grow" http://www.spectator.co.uk/index.thtml It's the demography at bottom. Europeans have simply given up on having children. http://www.newcriterion.com/archives/24/01/its-the-demography/ As the Spectator said, expect this to be repeated "ad nauseam". So much for Francis Fukuyama's "End of History" ... How many jihadis does it take to change a lightbulb? 101: one to actually change the bulb; a hundred to protest, propagandize, and issue threats and fatwas against whoever is deemed responsible for the bulb blowing in the first place - Jews/Hindus/Americans/Danes/Norwegians/Christians/Buddhists/atheists, etc., etc.

How many jihadis does it take to change a light bulb? Only one, but the blast damage makes it impossible to reuse the socket.

Danish Beer. Yuuummmm. Alcohol is forbidden, so Danish Beer is a twofer. Best accompaniment for beer is a Ham and Cheese on rye. All Danish preferably. Wait, ham is also considered filthy; so if I buy Danish that's another twofer. That's four! (4!) additional infidel points for me. Get a hundred points and you can redeem them for your own personal fatwah. And showing support for courageous Danish infidels all the while.
