Sticky:: So what's with the bogus dates ...
In the tradition of my old blog, I've decided that no matter what my mood this blog should always open on a happy note. Any time you come here, the first 3 or 4 posts will be positive things with semi-permanent homes at the top of the blog. If you're a regular visitor who's seen them before, please scroll down till you see a date header that makes sense. Warning: Here be monsters. More on that later. Update: I'm going to prepend the word "Sticky" to the titles of any posts with bogus dates. That should make it easier for those of you who come by on a regular basis to scroll past them to the newer things. |

Sticky:: Meet my grandsonHow about grandson-blogging, cat-blogging, and computer-blogging all in one place? (Click the pictures to enlarge them.) There are a lot more where these came from. Click here for more pictures of Ian and here to see my entire web site. I bought Ian that HP Travel Mouse (just the right size for little hands) as soon as I found out he was on the way. I gave him the computer as an early Christmas present when he was 3 months old. (He thought the "puppies and kitties and people I know" slide show screensaver was pretty cool.) |

Sticky:: It's still Sept. 12, and it will be for quite a while.
It's September 12th. For some of us, it will be for a long time to come. For others, it was September 10th again before the WTC even quit smoking. If you're back in that September 10th world, here are some links I hope you'll click to refresh your memory. Read how Lila remembers that day. Read how Greyhawk remembers it. Read about young Sara's grasp of the situation. Did you see the poster Michele and Lisa put together? Look at it again. Maybe Charles Johnson's slideshow will refresh your memory. Or how about a short movie? Didn't enjoy that one? How about this one? Added 2005-09-14: Don't miss Beldar's excellent essay here.
